The vehicle to Launch Chandrayaan-2
The
Baahubali vehicle will be used to launch
chandrayaan-2. Here the
Baahubali is the nick name of the
GSLV MK III M1 Rocket and this is a heaviest launch vehicle. In this vehicle the payload capacity is 4000 Kilograms and this is very reliable vehicle so this vehicle is only choosed to launch this mission.
Structure of Chandrayaan-2 launch vehicle
The vehicle which is named as
Baahubali(GSLV MK III M1) have three modules. The three different modules in the vehicle are Orbiter, lander and rover. The combined weight of all there three modules is 3850 Kilograms. And when we here talk about lander then is not an easy task. Here we needed so much soft, safe and precise landing. Where the speed of lander at the time of landing will be maximum 1 meter/sec which is approximately 3.6 Kilometer per hour. So, the landing on the surface of the moon will be so much accurate.
